Configuring the gateway for remote inputs and outputs

Double click on the “STB_NIP2311” gateway in the DTM browser window.

The page will take several seconds to open. Once opened, you can see the STB module with the remote input and output modules. To configure these modules you must start the "Advantys" tool by clicking on the button at the top

Click on the “DDI3725” module to configure the digital inputs.

In the "I / O Image" tab you have 16 channels which correspond to the 16 inputs of the module.

The entries are active by default, but you can add a mnemonic in the box: "User name"

.

Click on the “ACI0320” module to configure the analog inputs.

In the "Settings" tab you will configure your entries with the following options:

  • Analog input range
    •  4 to 20 mA
  • Analog input data format
    • Signed (15bits + sign)
  • Offset (signed or unsigned)
    • No offset in the current range
  • Maximum account (signed or unsigned)
    • No maximum measurement
  • Average
    • No filter to smooth the analog measurement
  • Channels management
    • Activate inputs

In the "I / O Image" tab you have 4 channels which correspond to the 4 inputs of the module.

You can add a mnemonic in the box: "User caption".

Once in the "Advantys" tool, you will find the rack with the different modules. This tool is used to create the remote rack and configure its modules.

For our application we have:

  • 11 discrete inputs (Information on motor start-up).
  • 15 discrete outputs (11 Motor run command, 3 indicator lights and a horn)

4 analog inputs (4 sensors for rotating control of bucket loaders 1, 2, 3 and 4)

Click on the “DDO3705” module to configure the digital outputs.

In the "I / O Image" tab you have 16 channels which correspond to the 16 outputs of the module.

The outputs are active by default, but you can add a mnemonic in the box: "User label".
